I was just hired to manage an existing PPC account. About a week later, Google disabled most of the keywords! They say that to bring them back, I must bid $10 per keyword. Don't want to do that. What should I do? I tried rewritng the ads and changing the matching options, but that didn't do anything.

In a separate but related deal, Google will also become the default search provider for Sprint, including having one-click search access and Google Maps pre-installed on some Sprint phones. 'The consortium includes a disparate group of partners: Sprint Nextel, Google, Intel, Comcast, Time Warner and Clearwire. average_cdn writes "Canadians looking to put a stop to pesky telemarketing calls before the federal government's do-not-call registry takes effect this summer have a new tool at their disposal. At IOptOut.ca, Canadians can enter their phone number and e-mail address and simply choose the organizations they would prefer not to hear from while the website generates a mass request that the user be added to those companies' do-not-call lists. The site, a beta version of which was launched yesterday, is the brainchild of University of Ottawa law professor Michael Geist and features information on how to avoid telemarketing calls from more than 140 different companies and organizations. Mr. Geist said that iOptOut helps Canadians finish the job that the do-not-call registry failed to complete.

One of the most commonly forgotten attributes of form tags and links (including image maps) is the accesskey attribute. In fact, the most common reason that this attribute is used is by sites that have an accessibility requirement - having an access key on links and form fields means that customers without a mouse or pointing device can still navigate relatively easily through the links and fields. But that isn't the only value to this attribute. In fact, these days, many people are building Web applications and trying to get them to look and act like applications on the local machines. One thing that most local applications have that Web pages often don't, are "hot keys." These are keyboard characters that when used with the Alt (Windows) or Ctrl (Macintosh) keys will perform an action.
