THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced that WWE Legends of WrestleMania is currently in development for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Joining the WWE SmackDown/SmackDown vs. Raw franchise, which has shipped more than 37 million units worldwide since 2000, WWE Legends of WrestleMania is scheduled for release in March 2009 to coincide with WrestleMania 25, in Houston, Texas.

THQ Inc. today announced that three of its top selling WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw videogames are now available in one package for a suggested retail price of $29.99. WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw -- Superstar Series will include the first three videogames of the popular WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw series: WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 and WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007. More battle lines are drawn: Yahoo backs Google's OpenSocial

Priceline.com and its international business unit, Booking.com, have announced executive appointments within their European and Asian operations. The companies announced that Adrian Currie, who has served as chief financial officer of Booking.com, will relocate to New Zealand, where he will help develop priceline.com's business in the Asia Pacific region. In his new role, Currie will continue to serve as chairman of Agoda.com, the Asian hotel reservation service acquired by priceline.com in November 2007, and will lead the expansion of Booking.com's operations in Australia and New Zealand. TEL AVIV, Israel--(Business Wire)-- Elron Electronic Industries Ltd. (NASDAQ:ELRN) (TASE:ELRN), today announced that Given Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ:GIVN) (TASE:GIVN), 18.3% held by Elron and 9.1% held through Elron's 50.1% subsidiary, RDC, today announced that it has signed a term sheet with Olympus Corporation outlining a settlement of the patent litigation between the two companies in the United States. Given Imaging announced that the term sheet includes certain worldwide royalty-free cross-licenses for their respective existing capsule endoscopy products and a release of all past causes of action. Given Imaging stated that the settlement will become final upon the signing of a formal written agreement, and have asked the Court to stay all activity in the pending litigation.

TeleCommunication Systems announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent number 7,340,241 for a “Public Safety Access Point (PSAP) Selection for E911 Wireless Callers in a GSM Type System.” The patent addresses techniques for routing wireless E911 calls to the nearest PSAP that is supported by the company’s Xypoint Location Platform, which offers location-based technologies that route E911 calls and location data to PSAPs, according to the company.

Prince of Persia announced

Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia will be making its next-gen debut this holiday season for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Along with new gameplay, the game will feature a new illustrative art style. Artists Announced For Life On Mars

The artists whose work will be featured in Life on Mars, the 2008 Carnegie International were announced today by Douglas Fogle, curator of contemporary art at Carnegie Museum of Art and curator of the exhibition. The show, on view from May 3, 2008, through January 11, 2009, will include works by 40 emerging and established artists from 17 countries.

THQ today announced that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II is scheduled to bring the 41st Millennium’s savage warfare to life like never before in spring 2009. Dawn of War II will take players to the brutal frontlines of war where they’ll experience intense action and combat through a non-linear single-player experience and a fully co-operative multiplayer campaign. Set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 science fiction universe, Dawn of War II is being developed exclusively for Windows PC.
