Dragon Ball Z first appeared on the scene shortly after the Pokemon madness had subsided. It was based around some sort of card game, but one that never quite took off and the strong point of the franchise has always been the anime series on TV. Now there is a new computer game to sample, so let's see how good it is.

"We're always reading your column to see what we can do better, and we noticed that the main "con" was that "Prints are not free." Well, now they are. Our customers can now get 250 prints by trying offers they might like to try anyway such as a Blockbuster subscription or a no-fee Discover card. They simply pick an offer and get 250 print credits (300 if they're joining for the first time.) That's about a year's worth of prints for free." Glenn at dotPhoto

One of my personal sticking points for keeping my online life totally synced is now one step closer to being easier—Google Calendar now supports CalDAV and can sync natively with OS X's iCal without a third-party add-on. But there's a huge hitch—as of now, I see no way to sync events created on my iPhone back into a Google Calendar, as you can't create an event in a CalDAV calendar directly on the iPhone. Damn, almost there—looks like I can't throw out BusySync just yet. But if you've found away around this limitation, please share in the comments. So close! [Lifehacker]

imageMaybe it was the bad economy. Maybe it’s the back-to-school season or an attempt to generate more interest ahead of Christmas shopping period. In any case, Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) hopes to see a sales boost now that its XBox console is now cheaper than rivals Nintendo Wii and Sony (NYSE: SNE) Playstation3, FT reports. Microsoft, which consistently ranks third in console sales behind its two rivals, is cutting prices in the U.S. and Japan. In the U.S., Microsoft’s 360 Arcade console, which doesn’t have a hard drive, is getting a 29 percent price cut—from $279.99 to $199.99. By comparison, the Wii sells for $249.99. Microsoft’s 60Gb hard drive model will now go for $299.99, which is being lowered by $50. That makes it $100 cheaper than a similar PlayStation3.
