Diablo III Art Designer Leaves Blizzard [08.07.08] Diablo III art director Brian Morrisroe is leaving Blizzard for a new venture, according to media reports, while Blizzard says the somewhat controversial -- at least from a hardcore fan perspective -- art design for the game will remain unchanged.

Diablo III Isn't the End for the Diablo Franchise

At the end of June during the Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational in Paris, Blizzard revealed the third installment in the hugely popular hack-and-slash action series. For gamers who thought this might mark the end of their beloved Diablo games, fret not. In a recent interview with MTV Multiplayer, Blizzard stated that while Diablo III will round out the trilogy, it will not end the franchise.

Blizzard announces Diablo III

Blizzard Entertainment Saturday revealed Diablo III, the newest entry in its critically acclaimed action role-playing-game franchise. The announcement was made during the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational at the Porte de Versailles Convention Centre in Paris, France. A cinematic trailer and an extended gameplay demonstration with commentary from the development team introduced the game to the thousands of players in attendance.
