LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Sayed Zahid Hussain has taken strict notice of the locking up of courts in Lahore, Okara and Toba Tek Singh districts and has directed the advocate general (AG) to approach the chief secretary and other officials to take action against those responsible. While presiding over a meeting of the LHC administrative committee, the CJ ordered the AG to ask for explanations from the officials regarding their failure to stop bar members from locking courts when they had already been informed by the LHC registrar about the situation.
