PG-13 "Max Payne" appears to be in good position to capitalize on the built-in audience the popular video game of the same title has created and should fill the void left in the action genre as "Eagle Eye" continues its decline. Being by far the widest release of the weekend at an estimated 3,200 theaters should also ensure that "Max Payne" lands atop the charts.
