I've used iPhones and I have an iPod Touch. I love the interface, and I dig the device. Initially, I had to resist the urge to just buy an iPhone and deal with these problems, but I didn't, opting to get a Nokia N95 instead. A year has passed, and I've realized that I definitely made the right choice -- the limitations of the original iPhone (and the iPhone 2.0) are simply too numerous. Perhaps I've been spoiled by my N95 (and truth be told, I'll be getting an N96 in the next few months), but no matter how you slice it, I've decided that the iPhone just isn't my cup of tea. POLITICS has often been described as the art of wise people, and alternatively as the last refuge of scoundrels. There is, however, no doubt that efficient politicians are artful people who are driven by an admirable urge of public service. As such, their altruism has been appreciated and recognised in all societies and politics has been deemed to be an edifying activity.

Philadelphia is hardly a magnet for celebrity chefs. Sure, Bobby Flay, Wolfgang Puck and Michael Mina have set up outposts in Atlantic City, but except when Flay rolls through town to film Throwdown, Philadelphia proper has resisted the big-name chefs whose collective urge for chainification has brought Lidia Bastianich’s noodles to Pittsburgh and Wolfgang Puck’s pizza to the Kansas City airport. We say, peddle your sushi elsewhere, Nobu. We will not be colonized.

The Senate on July 9 approved legislation that repeals the laboratory competitive bidding demonstration project, extends the so-called "TC grandfather clause" for 18 months, and reverses the 10.6 percent cut in physician reimbursements that took effect July 1. The measure already passed the House and now goes to the president for his signature. “This is a great day for laboratories and the Medicare beneficiaries who rely on critically important laboratory services,” said Alan Mertz, president of the American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA). “We now urge President Bush to sign this much needed legislation into law as soon as possible.”
