Wells Fargo environmental financing exceeds $3 billion

US financial services company Wells Fargo announced this week that it had provided more than $3 billion in environmental financing, tripling its $1 billion goal two years ahead of schedule, according to a progress report on the company’s commitment. Wells Fargo’s environmental portfolio includes $2 billion in green building projects, and over $700 million in support of renewable solar and wind energy projects.
