Further to its Sept. 18, 2008, press release in Stockwatch, AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (AMA) has received the official patent re-examination certificate for United States patent No. 7,203,630 C1. The patent re-examination was requested by Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. The notice states that AMA's patent was formally examined against U.S. patent No. 7,113,852 B2, owned by Viraf Kapadia and Hilary Vieira. The U.S. Patent Office has confirmed the unique nature of AMA's patent. AMA has always maintained that the solutions it provides to its customers are distinct and unique from other industry products.

USBfever has released a new SIM Unlock Card, which it says is compatible with the v2.2 iPhone firmware. The card should theoretically allow the use of different networks' SIM cards in an iPhone 3G, without having to resort to the risks posed by jailbreaking. The 10mm-thick Unlock Card is positioned parallel to a user's own SIM card, and can also be used in any other locked mobile phone.
