SOTC, the outbound travel division of Kuoni Travel Group India, plans to introduce a travel portal, which will provide a comprehensive range of services for B2C clients. The division is looking at introducing the portal around November this year. The company is also looking at strengthening its presence in activity based tourism through acquisition of companies operating adventure tourism activities. SOTC is already incorporating river rafting, hot-air ballooning, trekking, etc. in the existing holiday packages. The online model of SOTC will be enhanced by online payment gateways, various domestic and international tour packages, car rentals, foreign exchange, travel insurance services, visas, passport services and others.
