French investment bank Natixis, severely hit by the global banking crisis, is to slash jobs at its Tokyo branch from around 100 to 15, a bank spokeswoman said Saturday. Jiji Press reported that The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd., a banking unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc., will open a business office in Kazakhstan by March 2009.
