LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday adjourned till December 22 the hearing of petitions against the appointments as well as oath-taking of the Punjab Ombudsman and the Punjab Services Tribunal (PST) Chairman.Meanwhile, the Special Division Bench of the LHC comprising Justice Syed Hamid Ali Shah and Justice Tariq Shamim did not grant the stay order for restraining the Ombudsman and Chairman PST from performing duties with the observation that in this highly important matter, no decision could be made in haste. Attorney General Latif Khosa, Advocate General Punjab Khawaja Haris, Akram Sheikh, Ashtar Osaf both the counsels for the respondents and Fawwad Chaudhary counsel for the petitioner (Aourangzeb Barki) also appeared before the court.
