Thailand needed 24 off 11 overs with four wickets in hand and the game was still tilted in their favour when Hong Kong came back to reduce them to 74 for 9 in 20.1 overs. But Pimpika Jindam stayed calm, and in the company of No. 11 Sutanya Yimpaibool, saw Thailand to safety - sealing the win with a boundary.
