Birthday blog...

Thank you for your messages etc this morning...much appreciated. Â It was a fun old show this morning, have a listen again on the iPlayer. Â I treated it as a Friday because I'm having a couple of sneaky days off before the Christmas rush. Â There was a good edition of Free-For-All Wednesday today. Â Rod McKenzie, the big boss of Newsbeat read the bulletin at 5:30 this morning as a special treat. Â Rod is a news legend and doesn't do bulletins anymore because he is too important. Â However, he kindly agreed to do one today and even adhered to the new 'costume guidelines' I've put in place for my newsreaders on a Friday.Â
