terra: search
Seki Ray Shiroe has seen things that he shouldn't, and even his awakening power as a Mu and Keith's efforts to first help him, and later stop him, cannot prevent a tragic end. Confused by that and other irregularities, Keith seeks solace in the arms of Eliza. Meanwhile, Jomy Marcus Shin and the Mu have been run ragged by the harrying human attacks, so when an opportunity to at least temporarily rest on an abandoned planet presents itself, Jomy seizes it. In building a new life on the planet dubbed Naska, the young Mu explore natural procreation and childbirth as a means of renewing themselves and establishing a new future, but over time that also causes a rift to grow between the younger Mu, who want to abandon the search for Terra and make Naska their permanent home, and the older Mu, who still are dedicated to finding Terra.

For the first time, beer brewed totally from barley grown in space can be enjoyed on terra firma. The Japanese-owned Sapporo Brewery is one of the oldest beer producers in the nation, so it seems fitting that the company would want to diversify into the next frontier. Although the beer wasn't actually brewed in space, the barley ingredient was grown there. Through a joint program between Sapporo, the Russian Academy of Science and Okayama University in Japan, the small amount of barley was grown on board the ISS as part of a project to research the cultivation of foodstuffs in Earth orbit.

Scientists from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) have been using images provided by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera of NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter probe in order to determine whether there are any distinguishable patterns in the Martian rocks. The photographs of four craters inside Mars' Arabia Terra region indicated that there are indeed such patterns, and the scientists linked those to the changes in the planet's axial tilt.
