For the first time since December 2007, Amazon.com has beaten eBay in terms of unique website visitors. Amazon.com usually lags eBay in terms of unique audience, and only beat them by 250,000 unique visitors in December 2007. But data from Nielsen-Online reveals Amazon.com received 2.244 million more unique visitors than eBay for the month of November 2008 - a significant gain over its ecommerce rival. To add additional perspective, eBay's unique visitors was down 6 percent in November 2008 compared to November 2007, while Amazon's uniques were up 7.5%
