Fansites and the Starcraft community in general will petition Blizzard to hire the former voice actors Glynnis Talken and Robert Clotworthy to reprise their roles.

Patch 1.16 offers some optimizations: "[StarCraft] now only uses as much CPU as it needs to run smoothly." In-game chat (excluding whispers) is now saved in the replays. There's some bug fixes and the removal of several exploits including Terrans drop-anywhere nukes and some additional Zerg exploits as well.

Blizzard have announced this morning that they have purged a gigantic 350,000 players from their Battle.net online service. The players dismissed were apparently caught using illicit third-party hacks in games like StarCraft and Diablo II.
