Google Adds Blog to Video Web Site

Google Inc. has tweaked its Google Video Web site, adding a video blog that spotlights one amateur video daily, but it still relies on free, submitted videos rather than acquired programming.

Kodak at Photokina in Cologne this week

Photo service providers looking to differentiate and strengthen their positions in serving the ever expanding market for photo rich applications will find a number of unique capabilities and features in the digital press section of Kodak's Photokina stand. The exhibit spotlights a recently introduced, unique in-line process for printing images with a tactile or dimensional effect that mirrors thermography. The latest versions of photobook, personalisation, image enhancement and photo authoring software, the ability to deliver spot colour and attention grabbing glossing are featured with a Kodak Nexpress S3000 digital production colour press with Kodak Nexpress Fifth Imaging Unit.

Novel, conceptual nanotechnology carbon material meets DOE's target for hydrogen storage

(Nanowerk Spotlight) Safe, efficient and compact hydrogen storage is a major challenge in order to realize hydrogen powered transport. According to the U.S. Department of Energy Freedom CAR program roadmap, the on-board hydrogen storage system should provide 6 weight % (6 %wt) of hydrogen capacity at room temperature to be considered for technological implementation. We have written several Nanowerk Spotlights where we introdduced and described novel, nanotechnology-based concepts for economically viable hydrogen storage methods (see: Nanotechnology storage tanks).

HotHardware's Recent Blogs and Video Channel

Just in case you have missed some of the recent additions to HotHardware.com, we wanted to draw your attention to a couple of new sections on the site that are sure to be of interest to many of you. There are also couple of new buttons in the main navigation bar under the logo at the top of every page of the site. As their names imply, those tabs and buttons with take you to recent blog posts from the HotHardware staff or the latest video spotlights that will accompany our written content.
