sex blogger calendarI can’t think of a better way to spend the month of May than gazing at a bare-backed Rachel Kramer Bussel (author of lustylady.blogspot, editor of Spanked: Red-Cheeked Erotica, and Dirty Girls: Erotica For Women) wondering who may have left the red-smacked hand print on her right butt cheek.Time to shelve the puppies, kittens, and horsies, people. Make room for the New York City Sex Bloggers 2009 Calender. Shot at New York City’s famed burlesque bar, The Slipper Room, the twelve burlesque-clad sex bloggers give us their game faces and make everyday in 2009 just that much more sizzlin’.

With the frenzy over Barack Obama winning the Presidency still fevered, there's another issue that's heavy on the minds of many: The success of California's Proposition 8. And believe it or not, some anti-8 Whites blame Blacks for the outcome. As you know, the majority of Californians voted to ban same-sex marriage in their state on November 4. And for many the fight to repeal is just beginnning. However, many Whites can't understand why so many black Californians voted in favor of the ban. The ban denies the gay community their civil rights and the black community, historically, have been proponets of civil and human equality. Well, apparently not this one. I can take a wild guess on why blacks didn't oppose the ban: homophobia and same-sex lifestyles is still believed to be an experience exclusive to Whites.

The American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Alabama sent a letter last week to the Mobile County School System, the largest school system in Alabama, warning that mandatory sex segregation policies are illegal. Hankins Middle School, one of the system's schools, was segregated by sex for the 2008-2009 school year and currently has no co-educational options. This move was allegedly made without notifying students’ parents and goes so far as to prohibit students from interacting socially with those of another sex, according to the ACLU.
