Gamers play as Roll, a character that navigates spinning mazes on Flint Island to recover musical notes to save his friend, Rock, from being imprisoned. The player rotates the entire maze using the phone's accelerometer or touch controls as Roll falls toward the bottom of the screen. After all music notes are collected, the next maze is opened, ultimately leading to the release of Rock from the Evil Sky Spirit.

SLOVENIA: MERCATOR to roll out IBM self-checkout facilities

Slovenian retailer Mercator has announced that it is going to roll out self-checkout desks from IBM in its operations in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. The new equipment was initially tested in some Slovenian Mercator hypermarkets in 2007, and since then has been installed in 17 hypermarkets in Slovenia, as well as five hypermarkets in Croatia. The company is now going to roll out the new equipment to all newly-built outlets plus to existing stores selling from over 1,500 square metres. The initiative confirms Mercator’s reputation as one of the most innovative retailers in the Balkans region, which – among other things – was built by launching e-commerce operations in Slovenia (2006) and Croatia (2007).

Aug US CGP, PGP contracts begin to settle at roll over from July

US chemical grade and polymer grade propylene contracts began to settle at a roll over from July, consumers and one producer reported Thursday. Settlements for July PGP were talked at 85 cents/lb while July CGP contracts were at 83.50 cents/lb. One producer however was reportedly still in negotiations. Several consumers talked a roll over or a reduction for the last few weeks. Some acrylonitrile suppliers even began reducing rates by 25-40% because buyers would not pay higher prices. Even if CGP rolled, ACN suppliers were confronting a $160/mt increase in contracts from July to August, which was heard at $745/mt FOB Tampa Thursday. The ammonia hike alone accounted for a $80/mt jump in ACN prices, sources said. A rollover in the polymer grade propylene contract meant PP makers would likely have to abandon their 6 cents/lb August price incr

MotionX Poker for iPhone review

In MotionX Poker, you play against the house (a computer-controlled opponent) as you try to "roll" the best poker hand you can using five specially painted dice. The six-sided dice each have a nine, ten, jack, queen, king and ace engraved on them, and you have three shakes of the dice to figure out your hand. You can hold any or all of the dice in between each roll—so if you come up with three aces on your first roll, you can hold them and then try to get five of a kind with your last two throws.

Rolling into a Roth

Can I roll a traditional IRA into a Roth IRA? My traditional IRA contains after-tax contributions, due to high income that disqualifies me from taking the deduction on the 1040. This also requires filing IRS form 8606 annually. If I can roll the traditional IRA to the Roth, are only the growth and earnings from the funding subject to federal and state income tax, with the post-tax original contribution dollars not taxed again upon conversion?

Donahoe's Big Gamble: Free Listings on eBay?

eBay is moving toward a free listing-fee model. But will eBay's new CEO John Donahoe roll out such a dramatic change in one bold move, or will he roll out free-listings in stages - by category? It appears the former scenario is well within the realm of possibility, and in fact may be coming in time for the holiday shopping season. This could explain many of the changes eBay has made in 2008.

401(k) rollover delay seems unreasonable

Q: What recourse does a person have if a former employer does not process the paperwork to roll over their 401(k) plan into another plan? I worked for a small company for 15 months in 2006-2007 and accumulated about $4,000 in my 401(k). Three months after I left the company, I notified them that I wanted to roll over to Fidelity Investments. That was last October.
