THE Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has reinstated the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) transactions and internal bank transfers while reducing the foreign currency surrender requirements for foreign currency shops.

LHC provisionally reinstates three PCB officials

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday suspended the termination orders of three officials of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and provisionally reinstated them till the final decision of their petitions. Javed Arshad Munj, PCB general manager administration, Muhammad Pervez, PCB general manager cricket special projects and Ahmad Anwar, personal staff officer of PCB chairman, had filed petitions in the LHC challenging the notifications of their dismissal from service by the PCB. They said the PCB terminated them without serving any show-cause and no allegations were raised against them in the termination letters. The counsel for the PCB submitted that the petitioners were dismissed from services on the recommendations of a well-reputed chartered accountant firm ‘Ferguson Associates’.
