The patent is entitled, "Satraplatin for treating resistant or refractory tumors" and covers certain uses of satraplatin related to the treatment of a cancer or tumor resistant or refractory to a taxane, including docetaxel (Taxotere(R)) and paclitaxel (Taxol(R)).
