prayer: search
St. Augustine underlined the supreme value of a prayer which is brief and from the heart. It is a prayer of desire as much as of word; he likens this kind of prayer to a dart speedily released to God. It is with this kind of prayer in mind that this Advent blog has been created. It will begin on the first day of Advent and will consist of a reading of a small part of each liturgical Advent day. For some, these few lines recall what they had already heard for that day; for others, it is an opportunity to travel Advent as the Church suggests it be done. The reason for an Old Testament text is that Advent is the season which longs for the coming of Him who is the completion of all hopes and promises and covenants. Letting ourselves enter into the depths of hope and love, we will better prepare for the celebration of the arrival of God for us

They look just like telephone booths, but they are decorated with hands folded in prayer, and there's a place to kneel. The prayer booths are an art installation designed to spark dialogue on prayer in the public sphere. There are prayer booths in Jackson, Tennessee, in Ceder Rapids Iowa — and now on a bustling Manhattan street in New York City.

(AP) You could mistake it for a typical New York City phone booth. But instead of an image of a phone, the side panels depict folded hands _ and the word "prayer" instead of "telephone." Oh, and there's a flip-down kneeler.

I hate to tell you this anonymous at 4:17 but this is not you own personal blog so stop hogging all the space. It is also very uncool to use God's word to justify your bitterness and unwillingness to follow His directions to pary for leaders. Many decievers such as yourself have tried this trick.
You need to get into a good Bible-believing church so you can be taught and you need to be still and listen to God's still small voice. Its obvious from your writing that you are more concerned with being political than righteous so you can't hear him right now.
Your root of bitterness has got to be pulled out. The Saviour can help and I wil be in prayer for you.
