this year. The average number of photos taken with a digital camera is 500, resulting in 50 billion new photos every year. If only 0,1 % of these were saved, Europeans would have over 50 million new, beautiful digital photos on their PCs every year. Usually not much is done with these beautiful photos. Almost the same is applicable for the many videos, tunes and ringtones teenagers create on their PCs themselves. From now on it is possible to get more out of these. The new website http://www.PhotoSociety.eu, introduced by internet and marketing company Senwa, gives all Europeans the opportunity to make the most of their most beautiful photos, videos and MP3 tunes.

NikonNikon D700 Sample Photos : During a business trip to Monaco I had some time to shoot sample photos with the new Nikon D700. Unfortunately the sun was shining with high temperatures, so high ISO photos were out of the question. As soon as I have finished the full Nikon D700 test, high ISO photos will be part of the review. The new Nikon D700 was introduced the first of July and is for many Nikon enthusiast and SLR photographers quite a surprise. 12 Megapixels, compact body and the same image sensor as the professional Nikon D3; some pretty interesting specs! Currently I have a full production model in the office, at the same time there is also a second Nikon D700 tested by Kai Thon, DIWA's test manager, at the DIWA Labs in Norway.

Once upon a time, editing digital photos required downloading software on your computer and performing edits within the application. That’s no longer the case with such online applications as Adobe’s Photo Express (still in beta). In addition to performing basic editing tasks, the free service gives you 2GB of storage space and the ability to create galleries that you can display your photos with for friends and families. If you already have an Adobe photo-editing program installed on your system, look for desktop integration between it and Photo Express at some point down the road.

Of all the factors that contribute to how well an item will sell during an auction period, some of the most basic, yet often times overlooked aspects of eBay listings are the photos that a seller chooses to use to show an item that is for sale. It would seem obvious that the photos of an item offered for sale would be important. Even so, as you look through the thousands of listings for auctions being held on any given day, you will see photo after photo that are rough, blurry, haphazard, goofy, and sometimes, not even a picture of the item being sold or any item that is even similar.

SonySony CX11E HD camcorder : Experience amazing Full HD video and photos with the beautifully styled Sony Handycam HDR-CX11E. The Sony CX11E is the world’s first ever camcorder to feature Smile Shutter. This Sony technology automatically captures crisp 7.6 megapixel photos when someone smiles. There’s no need to press the shutter button or interrupt the action: it’s great for spontaneously capturing relaxed, moments while you’re recording. In ‘Dual Capture’ mode, stills are captured whenever someone smiles during movie recording. Switching Smile Shutter to ‘Always On’ mode can even grab photos while you’re in record standby - whether you’re in movie or photo mode - so there’s no chance of missing that smile between takes.

If you own a digital camera you know the headaches which can be caused by running out of storage for digital photos on your memory cards. You also know it isn't too hard to accidentally erase all of your photos off of your camera before you have a chance to download them to your home PC. One category of products – digital photo storage devices – helps to resolve that problem by letting you offload your photos to what is essentially an external hard drive.

Have you ever posted a photo of yourself online? Most of us have posted at least one over the years, especially members of social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Recently, photos posted on these sites have been used to help detectives, prosecutors and even employers. I personally know underage kids who have posted pictures on Facebook drinking beer, with apparently no regard for what ramifications that could have on their future. So the next time you go to post some pictures, take a second to think if they really show you in your best light.
