INTERFAX-CHINA - Nanjing Ericsson Panda Communications, Ericsson's largest joint venture in China, shipped more GSM mobile network equipment than any other telecom equipment manufacturer in China in September, while ZTE Corp. topped CDMA network equipment shipments in China during the same period, according to Interfax research figures. Nanjing Ericsson Panda Communications shipped GSM network equipment capable of supporting 246,000 channels to the domestic market and exported equipment capable of supporting 108,000 channels during the month. The company's production volume of GSM network equipment in September was capable of supporting 361,000 channels. Alcatel Shanghai Bell shipped GSM network equipment in China with the capacity to support 208,000 channels, placing it in second for September.

Cybercriminals are now distributing malware on peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing networks disguised as music and video files related to the movie High School Musical, Panda Security has reported.
