Vodafone Netherlands has decided to maintain the speed for internet surfing using mobile handsets to the maximum available network speed, which is at this moment at 3,6 Mbps. The operator announced earlier this week that it was thinking of lowering the speed to 256 Kbps. The announcement made disappointed users ask Vodafone Netherlands to rethink its decision, which the company did, going back on its earlier decision. Vodafone Netherlands spokesman Joost Galema indicated that while the company will continue to develop its mobile internet portfolio, new planned packages would not for the moment be launched.
