If from today the whole world accepts the present "East as West and West as East" the Sun from tomorrow will start rising in the West and setting in the East. The truth is, the names of directions or existence of any thing that we call remain the same because names of all stars and planets are given by homo-sapiens and each member of this species call each of their names in their own languages. The objects do not change only the names do. Whatever the uncompromising leader of the BNP says is correct and there can be no change. Now she has said that no fair election is possible under this government and the CEC because both the institutions are playing different games. According to BNP Chairperson and its SG the government and the EC are preparing different playing fields for different parties.

Frankfort, KY - The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) urged a Kentucky Court of Appeals Wednesday to vacate a lower court's order authorizing the seizure of more than 100 Internet domain names associated with websites operating around the globe. The seizure, and the lower court's exercise of jurisdiction over global domain names, threatens free speech across the Internet. In a move to combat what it viewed as illegal online gambling, the Commonwealth of Kentucky convinced a state court to "seize" 141 domain names because the names allegedly constituted "gambling devices" that are banned under Kentucky law -- even though the sites were owned and operated by individuals outside of the state, and in many cases even outside of the country.

Choosing a domain name for your portfolio or a client's website is a difficult task... largely in part because so many (SO many) names are taken. To make it worse, a great deal are taken just for resale and are expensive. I know I've spent hours thinking up names, trying them out, and getting not-so-great recommendations from web services.

An anonymous reader writes "We've all heard Weird Al Yankovic's 'Don't Download This Song,' which came out a couple years ago, but did you know that MTV is apparently so afraid that kids listening to the song will discover for the first time that file sharing offerings exist that in its video of the song, MTV bleeps out their names? There's a line in the song that lists out Morpheus, Grokster, Kazaa and Limewire (most of whom don't really exist any more), but for some reason MTV considers those names to be bleep worthy." Unless this is all one grand inside joke from Weird Al.

Due diligence in protecting a company’s domain names does not stop after the initial registrations of its core domains. Inexpensive in-house searches should be conducted regularly in order to avoid a pinching of your company’s good name. Recently, THE HOTEL HERSHEY overcame a savvy local competitor’s registration of a domain name that was found to be registered and used in bad faith with the intent to confuse Internet users searching for the famous hotel. Companies both large and small in the hospitality industry are susceptible to similar tactics and should have plans in place to avoid them.
