Alameda County District Attorney Thomas Orloff suggested that Hans Reiser might tell police where the body of his estranged wife is. He faces a 25 year to live prison term, and this is one of the few options he has to negotiate a reduced sentence. Reiser maintained that his wife went back to her native Russia after being accused of embezzling money from his company.
