BlackBerry OS Runs on Windows Mobile

IconToday, a number of screen shots of RIM's BlackBerry OS running on a Windows Mobile HTC Fuze hit the Web. The "BlackBerry virtualization" is possible thanks to the new BlackBerry Application Suite, which is a piece of software for non-RIM devices that lets users take advantage of various RIM security features, as well as the company's "push" delivery tech. The BlackBerry Application Suite isn't currently available, but it should be soon, according to reports.

Windows Mobile Phone review: Verizon HTC Touch Pro

Third time's a charm? We've reviewed the Sprint Touch Pro, ATT's version as the HTC Fuze and now Verizon's in the game with their own Touch Pro. Like the others, the Verizon Touch Pro features a VGA flush touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and many high end trimmings: GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a good 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus lens. It's certainly the slickest Windows Mobile device Verizon has offered, though it's missing some of the multimedia applications found on its cross-carrier competitors.

Free AT&T Smartphones for Corporate Customers

If you qualify as an AT&T Premier customer, meaning that your employer has a deal with the carrier (or school in some cases), then this one is for you! For 24 hours only today, AT&T is giving away free smartphones like the Samsung Epix, LG Incite, and HTC Fuze--a clone of the Touch Pro. These phones can be had with a new two-year service agreement. Unfortunately, according to Brighthand, upgrades and renewals are not eligible for the promotional pricing.
