Fun with Linux commands

From now onwards I will be posting 5 Linux commands weekly and mostly targeted to Linux newbies or to those who are not much comfortable with Linux commands. This post will serve two purposes: to learn Linux commands in a fun way without putting so much load on your memory power (that’s why I will post only five commands), and to realize the power of wonderful Linux commands. You might be already familiar with some of the commands and you might be hearing some of the commands for the first time; some of the commands might be very useful and some might be just for fun. This post will appear on Fridays so that you can have some ‘useful’ fun on weekends. If you know any Linux commands which are fun/crappy/useful/dangerous, don’t forget to share with us.

Wii Music is fun. It's fun even though you don't actually play music. It's fun even though it's not really a game, and it's fun even though it's not a good value, either. Very young children (from 3 to 6 years of age) will probably get the most out of conducting an orchestra, waving controllers to mimick playing steel drums, and using their Miis to make a goofy arrangement of the Super Mario Bros. theme song, but even a group of adults can get a few hours of joy from Wii Music before the novelty wears off.

Over the past few days, I did my best to determine the best and worst of the T-Mobile G1. I asked is it an iPhone killer?; does it feel clunky in my hands?; is it easy to use?; is it appropriate as a work device?; is it fun?; and, most importantly, is it stable? I answered most of these questions below with the thought in mind that Apple’s iPhone is the one to beat. My final conclusion is that the G1 rivals the iPhone in fun, and offers an unparalleled experience when it comes to customizing the device, but suffers a bit because learning all of its features takes time.
