A reader commenting on my recent review of Photoshop Elements 6, noted that Elements' integration with iPhoto isn't up to much. One reason for that, we can fairly safely assume, is at the developers at Adobe reasoned that since a mildly de-featured version of the powerful Bridge file browser, image viewer, and organizer from Photoshop CS was to be bundled with the Mac version of Elements (Elements for Windows users get a clunky program called Organizer instead), why should they spend a lot of effort on close integration with less - capable iPhoto.

The lens is ideal for environmental or hazardous monitoring applications requiring extremely low-light imaging. The lens opens up new ways to allow monitoring of critical areas that may be in difficult or impossible to permit in-person close-up viewing.
