Can I make money with blogs? Look at my free money making blogger and learn how to do it yourself. Lots of people ask me how I promote GDI or Global Domains International. How do I get my online business leads. Please visit http://gdijoinnowforfree.blogspot.com/ to see one of the companies I promote on my blogs. First let me say that blogs must be informational. You cannot make a blatant sales pitch blog full of ads only or blogs entirely devoted your promoting your product or service.

Journalist Louise Story wrote an insightful article recently in the New York Times about the growth in the number of bloggers who accept advertising on their blogs. If you do much surfing of blogs you may have noticed the increasing prevalence of advertising in blogs. Certainly among the business blogs out there, most that I visit at least have some Google AdSense ads on their blogs.

These are the blogs you won't see on the Techmeme Leaderboard, Technorati's Top 100 blogs, or the CruchBase BloggerBoard ... at least not yet. They include VCs, entrepreneurs, coders, experts, and observers, and they bring a delicious mix of insight, experience, and passion to their blogs. While they may not have the right amount of link love, they need to be on your radar screens.

Vote McCain in 2000! writes "McCain is not the stranger to technology some think him to be. McCain is now asking supporters to stump for him on blogs. Republican Web 2.0 consultant David All was effluent with praise for this outreach, calling it 'smart' and 'unique.' McCain's blogger outreach section has a handy list of political blogs which might be interested in hearing about McCain, such as the DailyKos, Crooks and Liars, and Think Progress. You can even report your posts to the campaign and 'receive points for your success,' though the page doesn't say what exactly the points are good for." Slashdot is not on their suggested blogs list. Can't imagine why.

I just want to ask you one quick question. Are your blogs profitable? I told you it would be quick. It's real simple to answer. Either your blogs are earning for you, or their not. I will tell you something here and I will be blunt. If your blogs are earning you some type of income then you need to listen up. If your blogs are not earning you some sort of income then you DEFINETLY need to listen up. Pay attention close to what I say and maybe the next time someone asks you that question instead of saying yes or no you can say "HECK YES THEY ARE"! Now I again will be blunt. Some people consider this totally unethical and blackhat. I leave that for you to decide. A vast majority of the people that will tell you this is "blackhat", are not earning "peanuts" from their blogging efforts.

Here’s a quick summary of Fortune’s look at the world of MP3 blogs: Sites like Peter Rojas’ RCRD LBL and TheFader.com attract hip readers that advertisers salivate over. But on their own, they’re too small to easily attract big advertisers. The familiar solution: an MP3 blog network. Music marketers Jon Cohen and Rob Stone of Cornerstone Promotions (which owns TheFader) have already sold Fortune 500 advertisers like Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) and Toyota on the network, which claims 240,000 readers. That’s basically the news, and the rest reads kind of like an ad for Cohen and Stone to pitch advertisers on the notion that their network of MP3 blogs is a great place to reach the right audience.

Regarding "Government enters the blogosphere": Great overview of what's happening with blogs and [the] federal government. You've touched on many pertinent aspects of using blogs. We had a panel on Web 2.0 at the recent FOSE conference but really did not have enough time, etc. to do more than touch on use of Web 2.0 applications. But I did post a PowerPoint on Slideshare.net. Just do a quick search on "FOSE" and the presentation should pop up. Web 2.0 applications present so many more possibilities than "just" blogging. But starting with blogging is a good first "toe in the water" to test what's possible.

Nobel Intent often finds itself positioned a bit awkwardly between blogs and more traditional sources of science news, but we definitely have an affinity for the blogs in a way that goes well beyond being on the Internet and providing a bit of interactivity. The affinity lies in the recognition that getting good science news to the public doesn't necessarily require a professional journalist—people involved in science can do the job quite well.

RISMEDIA, June 10, 2008-(targetmarketingmag.com)-Blogs are picking up speed as a channel for winning better organic search results, converting more prospects and developing a more humanized, authentic brand. “Blogs are still not quite here yet in the majority of businesses, but the adoption is becoming quick because people are starting to finally recognize that this gives you a way to humanize your business … and get back to people-to-people interactions,” says Chris Baggott, CEO and co-founder of Compendium Software, a blog software provider based in Indianapolis.
