Ehud Tenenbaum, 29, is an Israeli national who was living in Montreal at the time of the offence. He is accused of breaking into the computer system of Direct Cash Management Inc. in Calgary in December, 2007, to boost the balances of prepaid debit cards sold by Direct Cash. Police claim the cash was with-d r awn with the help of three accomplices, mainly from bank machines in Montreal, although the withdrawals took place throughout Canada and abroad. Mr. Tenenbaum was a teenager in Israel in 1998 when he hacked into the computer systems of the Pentagon, pictured.
