From the looks of their web site, there are 100 designs available. The skins are full color and printed on a premium vinyl for adhering onto your device. The company claims they use a patented re positionable and removable adhesive so they can be removed goo-free.

RIAA Drops Case That Hinges On 'Making Available' Issue - Is RIAA giving up on these cases or just trying to avoid precedent-setting loss?

In the lawsuits that RIAA has filed against P2P users in the past, one of the major questions that has come up has been whether or not it’s illegal to simply make copyrighted files available for others to download. The argument of users is that there has to actually be something stolen, some proof that the file was downloaded, or there was no violation but RIAA has said that the violation takes place when the file is made available online. A New York court recently agreed with users on this issue which has caused other cases to go back to the courts for further review. Perhaps RIAA plans to stop fighting this particularly battle considering that they just voluntarily dismissed a case that had been pending for nearly a year in which the major issue was the “making available” point.

More Titles Available For Amazon's Kindle Despite Fears By Other Publishers

The book-publishing industry is not sure what to make of the Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) Kindle wireless reader. The device’s creator Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos addressed the industry in front of a packed crowd on Friday at the BookExpo Convention in Los Angeles, and spent a lot of the time talking about about the device, which accounts for 6 percent of his company’s book sales that are available in both paper and electronic forms. But it appears there’s two camps forming on whether the device is an opportunity or threat. Publisher Simon & Schuster said it is making 130,000 titles available for the device, an increase of 5,000, reports AP. At the same time, publishers are concerned about Amazon’s growing dominance as a bookseller, NYTimes reported.

Law Professors Want New Trial for First RIAA Trial Win - Making available issue could lead to new trial but not necessarily new outcome

Last fall RIAA got a big win in the courts when Jammie Thomas was ordered to pay over $200,000 in fines just for “making available” music downloads for sharing. Recently, the judge in that case said that he was considering giving that trial a second chance because nationwide cases indicate that solely making the files available for distribution (with no proof that they were actually distributed) isn’t actually a crime. A group of lawyers has submitted a brief for the judge’s review which does indeed suggest that a new trial should be granted because of this issue. This doesn’t mean that Thomas would be in the clear; she could still be found in violation of copyright infringement even if a new trial is granted but she would get a second chance to prove her side of the case.

However a quick internet search shows that other mobile server providers, including those located in US and Canada, also make all MMS messages available in a similar manner. In fact, operators like Sprint and Boost Mobile will even let you see the phone number from which the picture or video was sent, download it, print it, forward it or reply to it from the same web page. Other operators like Canada's Bell, Solo Mobile, Verizon, Rogers and Quest appear to have removed or otherwise protected all MMS messages recently as all the cached search listings that show up for these providers are no longer available.
