In the latest issue of Famitsu, it was announced that SEGA's toasted Toshihiro Nagoshi has been working on Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3). This isn't to be confused with Edo-era PS3 exclusive Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan!, which is actually the third Yakuza game in the franchise, but not actually Yakuza 3. Confused? According to the article, Kenzan! was a spin-off, and this newly announced game is actually the third one in the series, m'kay. Work began on the game commenced after development on Kenzan! finished, and the story picks up where Yakuza 2 left off. Well, that makes sense at least.

Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia will be making its next-gen debut this holiday season for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. May 21, 2008 - Cyanide(the Parisian developer, not the poison) announced free MMO Dungeon Party. The studio recently brought us action RPG Loki: Heroes of Mythology. Although Dungeon Party features a top down 3rd person isometric camera angle, the game isn't your typical MMORPG. Dungeon Party makes 2 teams duke it out against each other as they race to obtain a treasure chest buried within a dangerous dungeon. Teams of up to 5 players must race to the chest; however, obtaining the treasure is only half the battle as the team carrying the chest must make it out the dungeon alive while avoiding monsters, traps, and the crazy antics of the opposing team.
