The iPhone's Safari web browser is great, as far as mobile browsers go. But unlike many older smartphone browsers (Palms Blazer browser, for instance) it has only offered a shortcut for one domain name ending, .com. With the iPhone 2.0 firmware update and iPhone 3G, this has changed. Now, when you press and hold the .com button in the iPhone keyboard for a second, three more options appear: .net, .edu, and .org. Nintendo has added a new title to their WiiWare shop, Strong Bad Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner from developer Telltale Games. The new title features the infamous boxing-glove-adorned character in the first of five installments of Telltale's "Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People". "The point-and-click adventure game stars Strong Bad, the lucha libre mask-wearing character from web cartoon series Homestar Runner. Players can create "Teen Girl Squad" comics, play a retro-styled minigame titled Snake Boxer 5, and send pictures and messages to their friends through the Wii's message board system." In addition to the new title two classic titles have also been added for virtual console, Break In, and Star Parodier.

Google's iGoogle portal is currently a simple tabbed affair, that allows you to add various widgets and change the theme of the page. With the newly proposed layout (which is being tested in a small number of randomly selected Google accounts), the page takes on some features more akin with social networking. The tabs now move to the left hand side and new features have been added. The chat feature from Gmail gets borrowed and used here, so you can talk to your online contacts, and options for sharing items will be easily added in future. The new iGoogle will also add a news feed in the same vain as that found on Facebook that shows updated information for contacts across various Google apps. As we have come to learn, some of AT&T's iPhone plans may be a bit on the expensive side at times, but the carrier at least gives you unlimited data access. Of course, if you go abroad with your iPhone, you'll be paying quite a bit more for data unless you have an existing data roaming plan. The iPhone is a bit more data-hungry than other 3G devices, so in order to capitalize on international travelers' needs, AT&T has added two new international data plans. $120 a month gets you a hefty 100MB of data while you're on the other side of the world, and shelling out $200 per month gets you 200MB of data.
