TORONTO - Aboriginal people have been granted the 102nd spot on a government-sponsored list of 101 things that most define Canada after online respondents pointed out that First Nations people, culture and symbols weren't included in the original tally. The oversight and late addition reflects how the historic marginalization of First Nations people has pushed them to the fringes of Canadian consciousness, an aboriginal studies instructor said.

Fifteen wickets fell on the second day of the Intercontinental Cup match between Canada and Bermuda at King City and, even though Canada collapsed to give the visitors a slender first-innings lead, their bowlers put them back on top by the end of the day. Canada were dismissed for 228, Dwayne Leverock taking 5 for 69 with his left-arm spin, in reply to Bermuda's first-innings score of 237 but their spin attack reduced the visitors to 78 for 5 in the second innings by stumps.

June 10, 2008 - The NPD has released its top 10 best-selling PC games list for the week of May 25 to 31. Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures continues to hold its first place spot for two straight weeks. The MMORPG made its impressive debut on the NPD sales charts last week. BioWare's Mass Effect action RPG, released May 27, makes its first appearance on the list and grabs the second spot. While certain games have shifted positions on the list, the real noteworthy change is the fact that Crytek's Crysis FPS once again slips out of the top 10 while Stardock's Sins of a Solar Empire strategy game reappears on the list at number 9.
