Hoshiarpur, Punjab (KP) -- On Wednesday the Dal Khalsa announced that the plot to place Punjab University in the control of the Central government would be detrimental to students attending Punjab University. The plot was first propagated by a small part of the teaching staff in which they mentioned such a step would be beneficial for teachers, since the Union Government offers teachers a retirement age of 65. However, besides a few university teachers, everyone from the non teaching staff of the University had no interest in being part of the Union Government.

Google has donated $300,000 to Oregon State University to build more capacity at its open source computing lab, which means the company has now given a total of $750,000 to the lab, the university said in a statement. The Clear system allows travelers who register and pay a $100.00 annual fee to speed through airport security by using a smart card at special kiosks in some airports. TSA has suspended new registrations in the system, which is run by a private contractor, Verified Identity Pass, Inc., a subsidiary of GE.
