Round 7 of APOY 2008 is Motion, but before you get started with this challenging round, it's best to think about technique. Are you going to a car race? Perhaps you want to try panning with your camera by tracking your subject, pressing the shutter and moving your camera with its movement. Other things to remember are setting your camera to take continuous shots, or maybe long exposures with the self-timer to capture human or light trails.

In round 6, Inhabitants, we ask you to think about what it means to inhabit. You are an inhabitant of your home, but also of the town, country and world in which you live. How can you express these ideas visually? Would your image show you sitting in your lounge, or would your picture depict your lounge empty without you, lined with the objects and keepsakes that define you? It's up to you to decide.

Barence writes "Britain's six leading internet providers have signed a Government-led agreement to stamp out illegal music file sharing. The six providers — BT, Virgin Media, Orange, Tiscali, Sky and Carphone Warehouse — will implement a series of measures against those found to be file sharing. Offenders may find their internet connection is throttled, or may even have their traffic 'filtered' to prevent media files from being downloaded. The ISPs are reportedly reluctant to impose the BPI's preferred 'three strikes and you're out' approach of cutting off users' broadband connections."

Their latest effort — an anime infused BATMAN production made up of six distinct, but interlocking, chapters — is another step in the right direction. Six different writers and six different directors handled each section, which was brought together as a whole by the guiding hands of exec producer Bruce Timm and story man Jordan Goldberg, a producer on THE DARK KNIGHT.
