The Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone deals are coming in thick and fast. Days after Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) announced a 10-country deal to carry the iPhone, and Telecom Italia said it too would sell the device in Italy, comes news that Mexico telecoms firm America Movil will bring the device to its Latin American operations later this year, which includes over a dozen countries. Again, like the Vodafone deal, no mention if this is exclusive or not. Bloomberg reports, however, that Apple’s latest agreement won’t have a significant impact on iPhone sales. Apple shares rose after Bank of America said forecasts for iPhone sales may be too low because the company is about to start building a version of the device that uses a faster Internet connection. "Our iPhone estimates are starting to look too conservative at 8 million units" for 2008, Bank of America's Scott D. Craig wrote in a report Friday. The analyst said Apple will probably produce at least 11 million iPhones that use 3G wireless networking technology in May through September. Every additional 1 million devices sold will generate an extra $400 million, or 12 cents a share, in annual profit for Apple, Craig wrote. The 3G iPhone will probably be announced next quarter, he said. Apple shares climbed 2 percent to $143.01 in Nasdaq trading.
