It looks like the Sony-Ericsson W350a is coming to AT&T later this year. One of the handsets has appeared mysteriously on eBay with AT&T branding. It's not a super-new phone, but the fact that it's got the AT&T logo is something interesting. Was this a demo phone? A loaner from SE? Will AT&T carry the phone in the near future? We don't know, but Sony-Ericsson fans have just perked up their ears. [PhoneNews]

With the recent announcement of the 8.1MP C905, Sony Ericsson has made yet another leap forward in the race to dispense of compact cameras by way of integrating increasingly more sophisticated imaging devices into a conventional mobile phone handset. One of the appealing facets of Sony Ericsson is its approach to innovation – rather than solely pursue the ‘bottom line’ megapixel count, Sony Ericsson has instead added further functionality to its handsets, as can be seen in the all-singing, all-dancing C902. Sony Ericsson took a large step forward with the previously reviewed K850i, insofar as the handset featured dedicated camera operating buttons allowing quick access to functions such as scene modes and flash operation, and much the same rings true with the C902.

PARK RIDGE, N.J., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- When Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) went on the air recently from its new studio, the Miami-based radio, TV and internet network did more than unveil a new look. The prospect of a PSP phone looks even more likely now that we've seen Sony's patent for a touchscreen handheld. The patent describes a device with "digital tactile pixels" that respond to touch and give feedback via vibration. This patent was submitted by Sony Computer Entertainment, the group behind PlayStation, and not Ericsson, like the last alleged PSP phone patent. The mystery device is covered to play games and music and browse the web, but also make phone calls, so what else could it be? [patent via Tech Digest]

Well just look at the new Sony Walkman E series range of PMPs all lined-up in their Sunday best looking remarkably like iPod Nanos but then, I suppose if you can't beat them, copy them as closely as possible without it being too much of a give away. In fact if it wasn't for the FM radios in the Sony NWZ-E435, E436 and E438 I might have thought they were Apples.
