wooferhound points out recent news that the Cassini probe has completed its original four-year mission and is beginning a two-year extended mission, which was authorized earlier this year. Cassini's first mission brought us a treasure trove of information about Saturn and its various moons. The new mission will target two of those moons in particular for further study: Titan and Enceladus. Quoting: "The spacecraft is extremely healthy and carries 12 instruments powered by three radioisotope thermoelectric generators. Data from Cassini's nominal and extended missions could lay the groundwork for possible future missions to Saturn, Titan or Enceladus. Agency lacks budget, authority and expertise to ensure nanoproducts are safe WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --- The inability of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to carry out its mandate with respect to simple, low-tech products such as children's jewelry and toy trains bodes poorly for its ability to oversee the safety of complex, high-tech products made using nanotechnology, according to a new report released by the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies (PEN). Two nanotech products under the jurisdiction of the CPSC are being used in the Olympic Games in Beijing -- a pair of running shoes and a swimsuit. The products can be found in PEN's consumer product inventory (http://www.nanotechproject.org/inventories/consumer/), which now contains more than 800 manufacturer-identified, nanotechnology-enabled items.

Technical indicators for AMZN are bearish and steady, while S&P gives the stock a neutral 3 STARS (out of 5) hold rating. If you’re looking for a hedged play on this stock, consider an August bear-call credit spread above the $95 range. AMZN hasn’t been above $95 for more than just a few days in the past year and has shown resistance around $85 recently.

The area given to Small Press has not changed. With regard to Artists Alley this year we are able to accommodate 210 artists, up 43 artists from last year when we had 167 spaces. And I should point out that the 167 was up 20 people from the year previous where we accommodated 147. And I will state emphatically that no publisher, or any exhibitor, for that matter, has been asked to reduce their booth size to make way for Hollywood. Or any other exhibitor. Each year the floor changes in configuration. Some exhibitors hope to expand their space, some exhibitors reduce their space and still others elect not to return for any number of reasons. This is true this year as well. When additional space becomes available, we try to accommodate requests of long time exhibitors while still keeping the floor dynamic by welcoming new exhibitors.
