Online spending reaches 4.8bn in July

IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index on Wednesday showed online spending rose in July to reach a total market value of over Ł4.8 billion - the equivalent of Ł79 for every person in the UK. The Index shows that shoppers continued to spend online despite pressures on disposable income with sales rising 11.3% on June.
