Simi Valley-based NovaStor, a developer of data storage management software, said today that it has released the latest version of the firm's NovaBACKUP data protection and disaster recovery software. The firm said that the upgraded software--NovaBACKUP 10--adds ability to back up data to online storage accounts, and full disk image recovery. The software, which previously only supported local backup to hard drive, tape, NAS, or CD/DVD, now supports backup of data to online data storage services such as Amazon S3, storage acconuts from NovaStor, or other online backup services.
