Bristol City Council has unanimously approved developer Redland House BV’s planning application for an imaginative scheme involving partial demolition of Redland House, a derelict 1970s office building at the top of Whiteladies Road overlooking the Downs. The scheme will provide 6,895 sqm of office accommodation and transform a gateway site into the city. Architect Stride Treglown developed a high quality design to take the existing building back to its structural frame then extend, reclad and refurbish it to create a contemporary building.
