Gang Bosses Phone Taps and Inter Milan: related news

Gang Bosses, Phone Taps and Inter Milan

MILAN – Tapped phone conversations with gangland bosses have involved Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini and several players in a wide-ranging inquiry into drug trafficking. Meanwhile the season’s final, Scudetto-deciding game looms. Behind all the trouble are telephone chats with their tailor, Domenico Brescia, a middle-aged gentleman with a criminal record for murder, criminal association, robbery and drugs. Mr Brescia, who has a reserved seat at the Pinetina training ground and another in San Siro’s VIP stand, ended up in the cross-hairs of the Milan anti-Mafia directorate because he is alleged to belong to a ring of cocaine dealers with links to ’Ndrangheta gangs. An acquaintance of manager Roberto Mancini and his number two, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Mr Brescia owns a tailor’s shop at Rovello Porro, near Como, and plies his trade

The struggling Motorola (NYSE: MOT) maintained its No. 1 position, however, its share fell to 27 percent in the period from 35 percent a year ago. Likely to Apple’s (NSDQ: AAPL) chagrin, for the first time RIM (NSDQ: RIMM) BlackBerry improved its ranking, edgin

Sony Patent Hints at PlayStation Phone, Possible Mystery Device?

The prospect of a PSP phone looks even more likely now that we've seen Sony's patent for a touchscreen handheld. The patent describes a device with "digital tactile pixels" that respond to touch and give feedback via vibration. This patent was submitted by Sony Computer Entertainment, the group behind PlayStation, and not Ericsson, like the last alleged PSP phone patent. The mystery device is covered to play games and music and browse the web, but also make phone calls, so what else could it be? [patent via Tech Digest]
