S. Bhatia said Tuesday. Bhatia said the female police had been given special training to protect Dhoni from unwanted advances.

BEIJING (Agencies): As players from around the world backed former Australia wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist's call for Twenty20 cricket to become an Olympic sport, officials said it would take another 12 years at least for it to get on the Games roster. Sports ministry grants RO20,000 to OCC for promoting cricket

MUSCAT — The Ministry of Sports Affairs has allotted RO20,000 to Oman Cricket Club for the promotion of cricket in the Sultanate of Oman. The funds would be made available in two parts of RO10,000 per year. The funds would be utilised for the development of cricket, for the pre-tour expenses of the national team, development of Omani cricketers, for the development of women’s cricket and cricket in Omani schools.
