Today we are looking at the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone that is designed to work specifically with the iPhone. The headset is very attractive and works well. The other day we reviewed teh iP-HS1 model from the same company. I found that the ear tips are rather small in their sizes; I typically use medium ear tips on most isolation style headsets. On the iMetal iP-HS2 Isolation Headset for iPhone, I had to move up to the large to get the same seal and fit I normally see with medium tips. If you have large ears, this could be an issue for you.

It will slow down your T1, but it depends on where the VPN is terminating. If the VPN is terminating on the router, it should not affect the LAN. The router would convert the regular packages over the LAN. If the VPN is going in through a server, then the processing overhead is required to do that conversion. So in that case, if you're using that server and you have all of those VPN connections going, then everything will slow down. That could cause access to the server to locally slow down.

The OS-VOIP blog today writes that most small-mid sized businesses exploring the move to a new phone system will consider the ups and downs between purchasing a premise based IP PBX or a hosted VoIP solution. These days I think purchasing an old TDM phone system instead of an IP based system is about as smart as buying a VHS player so lets assume that most businesses won’t go this route.
