Wii Keyboard from Logitech: related news

Logitech announces Logitech Cordless Keyboard for Wii

Gamikaze.pl: Logitech announced Logitech Cordless Keyboard for Wii, a Nintendo licenced product. It should facilitate using the Wii Internet Channel as well as will be used by games with chat function, such as the recently unveiled Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Nintendo Wii Sports Resort and Wii Music

Here at the E3 2008 games expo, I got the chance to spend some quality time with early builds of Nintendo's latest 'Wii Series' games: Wii Sports Resort (a sequel to Wii Sports) and Wii Music (once planned as a Wii console launch title). The early verdict: Both deliver the irreverent fun you'd expect, coupled with some crafty control methods that you perhaps wouldn't. Both are sure to be popular – even Wii Music – though I'm still not 100 percent sold on it.

Wii Keyboard from Logitech

One of the best add-ons to the Wii is the Opera browser, available from the Wii Store for 500 points - it lets you browse the web, and it also lets you play about a zillion flash games. One problem: using the on-screen keyboard is a pain in the posterior.

21 upcoming Wii games to drool over

It has come to our attention that certain parties on the Internet want you to believe that there are no decent games coming out on the Wii. These people are malicious liars, and you should not believe them. The Wii has so many great games coming out for it in 2008 and 2009 that we had a hard time narrowing it down just to this list of 21 best, most promising titles.
Are they the same hot games coming out for the PC, 360 and PS3? No, but they shouldn't be. The Wii is all about unique hardware giving gamers unique experiences, and you'll find over 75% of the titles on this list are either console exclusives or loaded with Wii-specific features. So settle back and educate yourself about the 21 greatest games Wii owners — and in many cases only Wii owners — get to look forward to.

Look Ma! I can play like Wii without the Wii

We have seen different versions of motion sensing controllers trying to mimick Wii style gaming. But Ultimotion from Jakks Pacific not only enables play like Wii but has also got its own version of Wii Sport. Unlike Wii, this is not a console but is something like ‘plug n play’ which fires up the games as soon as it is attached to the TV. Included games are bowling, golf, tennis, baseball and football each included with an accessory of its own for more realistic feeling.

Wii Sqweeze Gives You the Upper Body Strength Of An Olympic Cyclist

This Wii Sqweeze demo by InterAction Labs supposedly does for your upper body what Wii Fit does for the lower body of the 10 people who actually managed to find one. The thing is essentially two squeezable grips (exactly like the kind you can get at sports stores now) that correspond to claws and bows and other activities on screen. It's not a real Wii game now, but just a PC demo running off a Wiimote tied via USB to a Wii. Could it be a real Wii game? Sure, but unless it's got Nintendo's name and advertising attached to it, we don't think it's going to do that well. [Exergamelab]

NSFW Video: Topless Wii Fit Lets You Exercise In Front Of Your Computer

Remember Topless Wii and Topless Wii: The Revengening? Well this is different. This is Topless Wii Fit, as inspired by that one underpants video of the Wii Fit girl gyrating around. Like we said, different. Zoo Today has a really NSFW video and a slightly NSFW video. The slightly NSFW video after the jump. Head over to Zoo to see the jiggly jubblies. If you can play Wii Fit looking like this, let us know.

With new Wii Sports, Wii Music, the Wii's future is casual

Nintendo's press conference held few surprises, but a new Animal Crossing, Wii Sports, and the announcement of Wii Music show that Nintendo is more dedicated to the casual market than ever. Ars reports from Nintendo's E3 press conference.

Review of Das Keyboard

My old keyboard was so crusted up with junk from years of abuse that I found myself struggling to depress most of the keys on the left side. So I decided that it was time to find a new keyboard. My plan was to steal the keyboards of my co-workers and try them out when they aren't around. But as this plan was underway, Das Keyboard asked me to review their newest keyboard. I used it for a few days to see if their website's claim of 'the best keyboard on the planet' is valid. Read on to learn more.

Comcast Makes Wii Give Away Promotion Official - Starting today for triple-play customers...

Some additional information on the free Wii promotion that insiders leaked last week now comes via more official channels: From today until August 17, 2008, new customers who sign up for Comcast Preferred Plus or Premier Triple Play package will receive a complimentary Wii system. A Comcast insider also tells me that potential Wii warriors will need to pass a certain credit screening threshold "to be determined by market"; if they don't pass, they will be required to pay the $250 Wii deposit to sign up for the Nintendo Wii offer.

MotionPlus brings 1-1 Controls to the Wii

Nintendo revealed a new accessory for their Wii console: the Wii MotionPlus. The MotionPlus essentially brings 1:1 controls to the Wii Remote controller. "The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player s arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion. Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play."

Wii Pack Generator Builds Custom Wii Homebrew Installers Via Web

Acting as a one-stop repository for all things Wii homebrew, the Wii Pack Generator brought to you by the WiiBrew folks is a handy aggregator for all of the various homebrew apps scattered around the Web. Just click the checkboxes next to the software you want (including getting things started with the Homebrew Channel via the Twilight Princess hack) and download it to an EXE or ZIP file that's set to load on an SD card. It definitely beats trolling dank homebrew forums for the latest updates. [Wii Pack Generator, Thanks tipsters]

Wii MotionPlus: Making it easier to control your Wii

Feeling too wobbly during Wario Ware: Smooth Moves? Nintendo has unveiled a new Wii remote accessory that could make controlling your Wii games a whole lot easier. The Wii MotionPlus sticks to the bottom of your Wiimote and combines with the accelerometer and sensor bar to improve tracking of your movements.

Wii Homebrew Can Now Read Burned DVDs, Play PSP Games?

Couple of news tidbits from the shadowy Wii homebrew scene today. First is what is supposedly the first custom Wii firmware that its author, Waninkoko, claims will allow the Wii to read burned DVDs without any hardware modification. And from the "just for the hell of it" department is a separate announcement of a PSP emulator running successfully on the Wii—albeit at a blazingly unplayable four to eight frames per second. The PSP emulator smells a bit more of fish than the DVD-R enabling firmware, but neither have been tested officially. [Waninkoko, DCEmu via Slashdot]

New Wii Disc Dumper Copies Games to SD Cards

The first Wii Disc Dumper required a PC and 50 hours of backup time. The latest v1.2 by nitrotux requires only a Wii loaded with an SD card to make backups of single and dual layer Wii titles as well as GameCube games. The only catch is that the Wii needs to be rebooted during the process quite a few times (3 for SL DVD, 6 for DL DVD and 1 for a GameCube disc). So while the process won't take 50 hours, it's not exactly an instantaneous, one-step backup, either. [El Otralado via Maxconsole]

WII-CONSOLES.CO.UK PUTS GAMERS ON FAST TRACK FOR NINTENDO'S WII FIT

But savvy shoppers searching for this virtual gym can avoid the run around thanks to real time stock alert website, ( http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk), which checks supplier websites around the clock to find out when and where the latest consignment has landed.

Logitech has released the Speed Force Wireless Wheel for Nintendo Wii - a racing wheel to you and I - which you'll be able to get your mitts on come November this year for the reasonable price of £59.99.
