The most brutal offroad racing festival is back, with players once again descending on the wild and alternative MotorStorm Festival. However, this time the location has changed dramatically, with players attempting to tackle the diversity and unpredictability of a remote Pacific island environment. Developed by Evolution Studios exclusively for PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3), MotorStorm Pacific Rift revisits the intense racing action introduced in last year’s MotorStorm, this time allowing players to navigate a radically different tropical environment chock full of lush jungle, towering peaks, and crystal-clear water.

Software piracy is worsening in the Asia-Pacific region, mainly due to rapid growth in computer purchases in economically booming China, with the trend showing no sign of abating, a global software piracy watchdog warned Wednesday. Despite a decline in piracy in most Asia-Pacific economies, including Japan, the software piracy rate in the region rose to 59% last year from 55% in 2006, meaning that more than half the packaged software products that run on personal computers are pirated, the Business Software Alliance said in its latest software piracy study.

A nine-minute interview with Paul McCartney and John Lennon that languished in a London garage for 44 years was played on BBC Radio in Britain. The interview took place in London at the studios of Scottish Television on April 30, 1964, two months after the Beatles returned from their first American tour. It was discovered among 64 unmarked, rusting cans by a film enthusiast, Richard Jeffs . In the interview the two Beatles discuss their success, how they write songs and how they met as teenagers. "I was playing at a garden fete in the village where I lived just outside Liverpool playing with a skiffle group," Lennon says. "And he came along, and that's how we met."
